Application Process and Information

Minneapolis Area

The Minneapolis Plumbers Joint Journeyman and Apprentice Training Committee will be accepting applications for apprenticeship March 1, 2010 – March 12, 2010. Applications will be available to be filled out, during that period only , in person from 8:00 A.M. to 3:30 P.M., Monday through Friday in the main office at Dunwoody College of Technology, 818 Dunwoody Blvd., Minneapolis, MN 55403.

Basic requirements are;

1) At least 18 Years of age. *

2) High school graduate or G.E.D. A copy of the high school diploma or transcripts or G.E.D must be filed with the Committee.*

3) Applicant must complete an aptitude test administered by Dunwoody College of Technology and receive a score of 70% or better.

* Requirements must be met by June 15th. High school seniors are encouraged to apply.

Applicants who satisfactorily fulfill the above requirements will be notified of the date, time, and place for an oral interview. Placement of applicants as apprentices will be on a descending order of rank as established through all relevant information. The number of applicants placed as apprentices will depend entirely on the level of activity within the industry. Applicants may be subjected to a pre-employment drug test.

Selection of apprentices is made without regard to race, age, religion, sex or national origin.

ST CLOUD AREA
